Ceramides are lipids which are found in high concentrations in the top layer of the skin, holding skin cells together, retaining moisture and protecting the skin from drying out. Over time ceramide production slows down making our skin dry and dehydrated. The addition of Ceramides helps to protect the skins barrier and improve moisture levels

Hyaluronic acid is found naturally in the human body as a lubricant and is a major component of skin tissue. Hyaluronic acid is the perfect ingredient to hydrate the skin as it can hold up to 1000 times its weight in water. We use both high and low molecular weights of hyaluronic acid, to hydrate the upper and lower layers of the skin.

This natural gentle ingredient gently removes dead skin cells and clears out pores to remove black heads.  It is also anti-inflammatory and can help to improve the thickness of the skin and the skins barrier function, as well as minimising pore size and reducing the look of fine lines and wrinkles.

This light and porous volcanic rock was formed when lava, gas and water combined and cooled - Lava Rock contains many minerals and helps oxygenate and regenerate the skin when used in our face polish.

The influence of amino acids on the skin improves wound healing, stabilises the cell membrane and increases the cells resistance to external stress factors. Amino acids are found in many of our ingredients, especially in our natural oils.

This small flowering shrub native to Africa, lives in harsh arid environments and can survive prolonged periods of drought. From the human eye this plant may seem to be dead, however, after a few drops of rain the plant instantly and miraculously flourishes. Due to this plants power of regeneration we have formulated our product to contain extracts which increase hydration, strengthen the skins barrier and aids skin regeneration

This golden oil has been used for centuries in Europe. The oil is extracted from the seeds of the Camelina sativa plant.  This oil is high in fatty acids, Omega-3 and Vitamin E.  This oil is beneficial to our skin as it is a good antioxidant, moisturiser and anti-inflammatory.

Charcoal is made when wood is exposed to very high heat and denied air, so the wood burns but does not flame, leaving behind pure carbon. The carbon is the activated using a liquid such as lemon juice, this process makes the carbon expand and creates a sponge like structure, this unique structure is what gives activated charcoal the properties needed for our products. The sponge like fibres help to draw out and absorb dirt, toxins and excess oils at a higher rate than any other ingredient, resulting in cleaner and clearer pores and helping to reduce pore size. It also acts as a micro exfoliant, removing dead skin for glowing skin.

Apricot oil is light and easily absorbed and is similar to our skins own natural oils. Apricot oil penetrates deep to nourish the skin, improve skin tone, moisturise and maintain softness of the skin. Containing vitamin A, C & E as well as high omega fatty acid content. It nourishes the skin and helps to reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles, is a great antioxidant, protecting the skin from damage caused by pollution.

Commonly known as black currant, the oil is cold pressed from the seeds and is high in amino acids. Black currant seed oil is prized for its many health benefits, it is anti-ageing, repairs tissue damage and reduces wrinkle formation.

A new biologically active, functional ingredient with high regeneration properties. A strong stimulator of cell repair and regenerator of aged tissues confirmed by several clinical tests. The results showing an improvement in skin vitality and regeneration and a statistically significant reduction of maximum wrinkled-ness value, Sodium DNA help the skin to appear smoother and more youthful.

Also know as provitamin B5 and widely extracted from honey, Panthenol is a super skin hydrator. It functions in several different ways, both as a humectant, attracting water to and holding it in the skin, as well as an emollient, smoothing and softening the skin. It also has anti-inflammatory properties and is involved in activating the proliferation of cells (new sell growth) that are important for wound healing and restoring the function of the skin barrier.

Rich in amino acids and polypeptides. The tiny particles of this partially hydrolysed collagen can more easily penetrate the skin to deliver nutrition to the epidermis, help strengthen cutaneous elasticity, firm, moisturise and restore suppleness to dry flaking skin.

The only true human biocompatible collagen, jellyfish consist of almost 40% collagen. It improves the tone of the dermal layer of the skin and increases the elasticity and tonicity of the upper layers.

Shea butter is a plant butter is obtained from the nuts of the Shea tree.  This thick rich butter contains high concentrations of vitamin A as well as vitamin E and D. As well as being a great natural moisturiser and skin protector, Shea butter has been shown to repair wrinkles, fine lines and scars, has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties and can stimulate collagen production.

The root of the acanthopanax senticosus plant has been used for centuries in China for its many medicinal benefits. This root extract conditions and sooths the skin, with anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and anti-stress properties. This extract may also help to rejuvenate the skin, reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, firm and tone the skin.

Squalane is found naturally in our own bodies and in the skins sebum. It protects our skin and acts as a barrier from external aggression. As we age our Squalane levels drop and our skin becomes more vulnerable. Obtained from olives, this natural squalane is easily absorbed into the skin, moisturises and protects the skin barrier has anti-ageing and antioxidant properties.

The oil from the sunflower seed contains essential fatty acids which help protect and repair the skin barrier and reduce trans-epidermal water loss. This oil has the ability to reduce inflammation, repair skin cells and aid in the healing of eczema and dermatitis.

Taurine is a β-amino acid. Taurine is found naturally in the human body, and our bodies contain approximately 70 g taurine. It is added to the body through the food we eat but it can also be produced by the body itself. Taurine has a protective and stabilising effect on the skin cells and this has been shown in several experiments. These experiments also showed that a topical application of taurine has a positive influence on the healing of wounds, that it helps to stabilize cell membranes, and that cells display increased resistance to external stress factors such as UV stress, for example.

Coco Glucoside is a very gentle cleansing agent. It has a unique set of properties that encourage oil and water to mix, this helps to eliminate excess oils from the skin. It is naturally occurring and derived from coconut oil. It shares many of the favourable properties of raw coconut oil, including non-oily moisture, therefore it does not dry the skin, soothing the skin whilst also cleansing.

Glycerin attracts water to skin and helps skin to feel smoother and softer, preventing dehydration. Not only does it attract water to the skin it also helps skin cells to mature properly by working as a signal to help direct skin cells through the stages of maturity. Vegatable glycerin contains high amounts of replenishing lipids and helps to soothe and restore the skin.

Almond oil is a rich source of skin-replenishing ingredients including triglycerides and several fatty acids (oleic, linoleic, and myristic among them) as well as vitamins A, B, D and E and also contains potassium, magnesium, zinc and calcium. This is a lightweight and super moisturising oil suitable for all skin types. Almond oil can improve complexion and skin tone whilst balancing the absorption of moisture and protecting against water loss. With Vitamin A & E it has great anti-wrinkle, anti-ageing and UV protection benefits.

The oil taken from the nut of the fruit argan tree and is rich in vitamin E, phenolic acid, carotenes, and essential fatty acids omega-9 oleic acid and omega-6 linolenic acid. It is nourishing, moisturising, antioxidant, can help improve skin elasticity and slow down cell ageing and has great management properties, so whether you skin is dry or oily, it will balance your skin perfectly.

This natural plant oil contains vitamins A, B, C, D & E, as well as iron, magnesium, copper, potassium, omega-3 and beta-carotene. The fatty acids are key for helping to regenerate the skin. The high dose of phytosterols help to prevent moisture loss keeping the skin hydrated, with the antioxidants working to neutralise free radicals that attack skin cells. Liquorice powder & extract is taken from the root of the plant and contains potent compounds, Glycyrrhizin acid and Glabridin. Roman chamomile floral water is mainly used for its soothing properties and is particularly recommended for babies’ skin. It also relieves irritated skin and redness in addition to eliminating signs of fatigue around the eye contour. Purifying and astringent, it tightens pores and is perfectly adapted to acne prone skin.

Our naturally derived Butylene Glycol & Propanediol 1,3 are obtained from corn.
